I started acting when I was seven-years-old when I was growing up in Texas. During middle school I was encouraged by teachers to join school plays and in high school I participated in one-act play competitions, which consequently got me a theater scholarship for my first year of college. I tried working in sales after graduation but the stage kept calling me. By the end of that year, I moved to New York to pursue acting as a full time career.
After a couple of years, the boy who lived on a ranch near Moscow, Texas, while attending elementary school began feeling claustrophobic in New York City, so I moved to Los Angeles.
